Mentor Coaching
About the Programme
“Mentor coaching for an ICF credential consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.”
International Coaching Federation (ICF)
- Individuals looking to pursue an ICF credential, Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC)
Entry requirements for the course
- Evidence of coach training through a certificate from an ICF accredited training organisation
- Evidence of ongoing training with and ICF accredited training organisation
- Must commit to programme requirements
Overview of the programme
- 10 contact hours (7 hours group mentor coaching and at least 3 hours one to one (1:1) mentor coaching)
- Observed or recorded coaching sessions
- Assessment and group work
Following completion of the group mentor coaching sessions there are three individual sessions with your Mentor Coach from our faculty of ICF credentialed coaches. At this stage you will have an indication about where your coaching skills needs further development. You will work closely with your Mentor Coach at these individual sessions to get your coaching ability to where it needs to be and have an opportunity to really reflect and receive quality feedback to assist you in your coaching journey.
