If you have ever typed “coaching training schools in Nigeria” or “how to become a certified coach” into a search bar, you already know the challenge; there are options, but very few that come with the kind of credibility, rigour, and real-world results that make a certification worth your time and investment.
EZ Coaching, the coaching arm of EZ37 Solutions Limited, has been quietly building something different since 2009. Accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the gold standard for professional coaching credentials worldwide, the programme has certified coaches at the highest levels of corporate Nigeria and beyond. HR Directors at Nigerian Breweries, People Directors at Coca-Cola, finance executives at AB-InBev, and senior leaders across banking, energy, FMCG, and consulting have all passed through the EZ Coaching training rooms.
This post is their story, in their own words, about their own experience.
Who Typically Enrolls in EZ Coaching’s Certification Programmes?
One of the most striking things about EZ Coaching’s graduate community is the calibre of people in the cohort. These are not early-career professionals looking to tick a box. They are heads of HR at tier-one banks, managing directors of regional operations, and business leaders with decades of cross-sector experience.
They enrol for different reasons, some want to deepen a skill they already practise informally, others want an ICF-recognised qualification that reflects their level of expertise, and many are drawn to coaching as a tool for people development within their own organisations. What they share is a high bar for quality, and a clear-eyed view of what good training looks like.
That combination; senior participants with serious expectations, makes their reviews of EZ Coaching especially meaningful.
What Is the PCCP? A Look at the Level 1 Programme
The Professional Coach Certification Programme (PCCP) is EZ Coaching’s Level 1 offering and the entry point into ICF-recognised coach training with EZ37 Solutions.
The programme is structured around two core modules: the Fundamentals of Coaching and the Essentials of Coaching, covering the ABCDE of coaching methodology and the ICF core competencies at the foundational level. Sessions are delivered virtually, live, and facilitator-led, typically once a week over several months, making it accessible to working professionals without requiring career disruption.
Graduates of the PCCP are equipped to practise as certified coaches in professional and organisational settings, and are eligible to pursue the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.
What Is the ACCP? A Look at the Level 2 Programme
For coaches who have completed the PCCP or hold prior coaching experience, the Advanced Coach Certification Programme (ACCP) takes practice to the next level.
The ACCP is designed for participants who want to demonstrate ICF core competencies at an advanced level, the kind of depth that enables them to deliver exceptional value to executive clients and complex organisational environments. It is EZ Coaching’s Level 2 pathway, and it marks the bridge between certified coach and truly masterful practitioner.
EZ Coaching Reviews: What Graduates Say About the Programme
Below, we share the experiences of a cross-section of EZ Coaching graduates, spanning sectors and seniority levels. These are people who came in with high standards, and left with something that exceeded them.
Banking & Financial Services
When asked to describe her experience going through the EZ Coaching PCCP journey, Oyiza summed it up in a single word: transformational. That word carries weight coming from a people leader who has built and shaped HR functions at two of Nigeria’s most prominent financial institutions
Oyiza Salu — Chief Talent & Culture Officer, Polaris Bank Ltd (formerly Group Head, HR, Guaranty Trust Bank)
Nafisah Muhammad Buba, ACC — Head, Human Capital Management & Administrative Services, NIRSAL
Nafisah brought her experience at the intersection of HR and institutional finance to the PCCP and left with an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, a designation that reflects both the quality of EZ Coaching’s training and the rigour she brought to the programme.
Ajuma Madojemu — Retired Director, Central Bank of Nigeria
That a retired Central Bank director chose EZ Coaching for her coaching certification says something significant about the programme’s reputation and the trust it commands among serious professionals.
FMCG & Consumer Goods
Julia Esezobor, ACC — People and Culture Director, Coca-Cola HBC
Julia is an HR executive with over two decades of multi-sector leadership experience. She enrolled in the Fundamentals and Essentials of Coaching as part of her personal development, and what she encountered went far beyond what she anticipated.
Her assessment of EZ37 Solutions as a training provider: professional in approach, with exceptional learning content, a strong faculty, and outstanding programme support. She noted that the learning outcomes were consistently clear, and that the delivery met what she described as a world-class standard. Most memorably, she reflected that the programme did not simply produce coaches, it invested in participants as complete human being.
Grace Omo-Lamai — Human Resources Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc
Grace enrolled with a specific and admirable goal: to develop the capability to help her people unlock their full potential through coaching. Her verdict on the programme was direct and generous, describing it as simply fantastic, and crediting the EZ37 team for building something genuinely rich and well-constructed.
Marilyn Maduka — Sustainability Director Africa, Anheuser-Busch InBev
Marilyn came to the PCCP wanting to sharpen her coaching competence, and left with both the certification and the confidence to coach colleagues across one of the world’s largest beverage companies. Her experience: very positive.
Adewale Arikawe — Managing Director, Sub-Sahara Africa, Royal FrieslandCampina
A managing director sitting in the participant’s seat rather than the boardroom chair, Adewale’s presence in the cohort reflects both his personal commitment to growth and the kind of leader EZ Coaching tends to attract.
